Your Company’s Approach to Healthcare:

We offer a different approach to healthcare foodservice. Our food is developed to our ethos ‘For Patients by Patients’. We have a team of food technologists and a Michelin trained chef who create our recipes to ensure that our culinary delights are backed by science. We then involve patients to sign off our new dishes. All dishes are also developed in collaboration with a Registered Dietitian to ensure they meet patient’s needs.
We also offer our healthcare clients added value by providing a BDA compliant menu planning service.

Impact of Your Products/​Services on Healthcare:

Our extensive range of both chilled and frozen plated and multi-portion dishes allow clients to create tasty BDA-compliant menus to cover a wide range of patient’s dietary needs.
We have a market-leading partnership with the Vegan Society with over 70 dishes registered, giving assurance to your vegan patients that these dishes meet their dietary preferences.

Innovation in Your Business:

We have a product innovation pipeline with new products launching every six months. This October we are launching our first ever venison dishes into the NHS in both our plated and multi-portion ranges. We are also refreshing our plant-based offer with some new exciting dishes, including a vegan suitable Quorn Katsu Curry and a Butternut Squash Pie.
We will soon be launching a single portion range within our multi-portion range to give clients another tool in their toolbox to help reduce food waste.
We will soon be working with our partners MyEmissions and Recipe Professor to launch carbon labelling into the NHS to influence menu planning to help Trust’s reduce their carbon emissions.

Future Direction:

We aspire to be a one stop shop food supplier, so we do have plans in the pipeline to offer individual modified texture meals, cultural meals, allergy free meals and healthy children’s meals under the BonCulina banner.
