Hobart’s new premium combi oven – the Chef’sCombi – is a direct result of our customer back process, stripping away unnecessary functionality to concentrate on what really matters to healthcare kitchens and featuring a new type of operating system inspired by chefs for chefs.

The Chef’sCombi is an all-rounder is suitable for every size of healthcare catering operation. Helping chefs to deliver consistent, high-quality food, its innovative design, inspired by chefs’ everyday requirements, makes it quick and easy to operate and maintain.

The Chef’sCombi focuses on the essentials – and includes:

• CombiOS: An intuitive and responsive touch screen which can be customised to specific kitchen requirements. Simply scroll and swipe.
• CombiClimateControl: A powerful climate management system that ensures consistent, outstanding cooking results.
• AutoClimate: That can be used for manual cooking and is precise, quick, and easy to use.

As with every new Hobart innovation, it’s all about the little details that make life simple and easy for those operating its equipment. The Chef’sCombi is no different.

A maximum rack height of 1.60 metres offers ultimate safe handling while 6 and 10- grid machines boast optional left-or right-handed door opening, offering complete convenience even in tight spaces.

Spacing between racks accommodates containers up to 65mm deep, while Hobart’s SmartConnect data management system gives chefs up-to-the-minute status updates on the operational efficiency, cook timings, and event history of the machine, all in one place.

Supplied in both electric and gas variants with 6 and 10-grid options available to purchase now and a 20-grid option coming this year, Hobart’s Chef’sCombi is the perfect solution for any kitchen.

Future Direction

Hobart is continuing its sustainability journey as it moves into year two of partnership with global decarbonisation tech company, ImpactLoop.

The Peterborough based manufacturer was the first in the sector to back ImpactLoop in a shared ambition to explore commercial catering embodied carbon data – the measurement of greenhouse gas emissions generated by the manufacturer for products sold into the UK market.

So far, the partnership has led Hobart to establish baseline carbon data for 80 of its fastest selling products. This transparent approach, and the issue of ‘life cycle assessments’ is playing an ever-greater role in the purchase decision process.
During the past 12 months, momentum has grown and there is now ‘loud and clear’ demand for carbon data from progressive dealers and projects and consultant channels.

Hobart is excited to announce its continued partnership with ImpactLoop but there’s so much more yet to achieve. Taking carbon data to next stage of lifecycle assessment, exploring alternative end of life options and running pilot schemes to test and learn how we can adapt to this ‘new currency of carbon’ will undoubtedly continue to challenge us as a business and our journey to improve the impact we have on our planet continues.
